RDSP - Third Party Deposits

Third parties, including beneficiaries making deposits into an RDSP

Additional forms are required to have anyone other than the Holder deposit into an RDSP. This includes the beneficiary of the RDSP, who is considered a third party.

Forms Required (please contact support@modernadvisor.ca for the forms to ensure we are providing updated versions).

  1. Aviso RDSP Holder Consent to Non-Holder Contributions

  2. Pre-printed void cheque (if EFT selected and not bill payment)

  3. Letter of Direction, must include:

    1. Name of account holder

    2. Name of person making deposit

    3. Account number

    4. Bank account deposit from

    5. Amount

    6. Purpose of transfers

    7. Acknowledgement of third party deposit entry on account (Yes)

  4. Aviso EFT Form

    1. When the contribution is coming from the beneficiary’s bank account, we prefer that both the Holder and the Beneficiary sign.

    2. When the contribution is coming from the immediate family member’s bank account, we prefer that both the third party family member and the Holder sign.

    3. They can sign anywhere in the bottom section of the form.
