The account set-up process for corporate accounts is different from our typical online flow, with several forms that need to be completed and signed offline.
Corporate accounts are now available as an account type when opening a new account. The onboarding through the dashboard is the same as other account types and you will see the Corporate option in the dropdown.
We require strong partnership from the advisor to complete and coordinate the offline forms with the client and help set up the corporate account. Our eventual goal is to help prefill these forms using the system interface in the same way that we currently do for RRSPs, TFSAs, RESPs, etc.
Until then, here are the forms that need to be completed offline depending on if the accounts are held with CI Investment Services or with Aviso Financial. Please email to support@modernadvisor.ca or upload to the client profile and let us know you have done so.

Aviso Supplemental Know Your Client (KYC) Form for each Signing/Trading Authority and Beneficial Owners of more than 10%.
In addition to the forms, we will also require the below documents for accounts held with both CI Investment Services and Aviso Financial.
Articles of incorporation
Government issued photo ID for directors and shareholders listed on the forms
Void cheque or bank for the company
